  • Left guitar in hot car

I left my Gibson explorer in my car last night and it was like 60s yesterday so I thought it wouldn't be hot so I woke up and grabbed the guitar out of my car at 12 and it was a little warm and yes it was in a case should I bring into the shop? How long does it take todo damage to the guitar

Leaving it the closed case in the shop and let it cool down 3-4 hours at least before opening it up.
You should be OK if you do it that way.
Never leave a guitar out like that during temp changes.Remember inside the case on a 70 degree day it is probably over 100 degrees in the case.
    Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Like stray said make the temp change back process as slow as possible. Drastic temp changes can easily cause problems.
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.
