I'm much more worried about 'superhumans'

either we're gonna see armies of these buggers trying to take over each other's part of the world
or we're gonna see a Gattica-like civilization
Both of which I prefer not to see in my lifetime

Yes it has high philantropic value, but much worse strategic/social value
