  • What gauge for Eb tuning ?

what's the more appropriate gauge for Eb tuning and have the strings not too tight so it's easy to do some cool vibratos while bending and so on

I use 10 gauge for both E and Eb.

9-42's are fine for Eb. All depends on personal prefrence really when your only talking about half a step down tuning.

                I find 9-42 to light in E, 10-46 to heavy in E

                9-46 for both!

Depends 100% on what you normally play in e Standard. I play 12-52 in standard, so recommending a set of 10s wouldn´t really help me much

That said, a drop of a semitone is usually a situation where most play the same guage.... most go up /down a guage when theres a full tone difference...

I use 11's - tuned to standard on my 24.75" and tuned to E flat on my 25.5" guitars.

I've got one of my Wolfgangs tuned to Eb and use 9-46.

9-42 here... They work fine for just dropping half a step.

Either 9-42 or 10-46. I have recently switched from using 10's to 9's and I tune to Eb.

Thats kind of heavy for vibrato and bending... wouldn't you think? You also would have to set the neck up, possibly the nut and the locking trem not to mention the low E tuner hole might not even be big enough for a 54. Especially on locking tuners.
