• Long guitar strap

    Hi!

Didn't know where to put this thread, so I've put it here, since description says set up's.

    I use this Fender strap:

But I want something that's longer. Does Dunlop make longer straps? What are your suggestions? Thanks!

Ernie Ball makes the longest straps I've found so far. Hang past your knees if you want.

Thanks! I was comparing Dunlop and Ernie Ball straps and in general they're all 64'' long. So I'll hook up one of these.

+ 1 on the Ernie Ball Straps. I like the guitar low and Ive got room to spare with these

Yup, I use the plain black nylon EB or Levy's straps only. On neck heavy guitars they slide a bit, but it doesn't bother me.

Getm' Getm' straps http://www.getmgetm.com/straps/index.htm. Just awesome heavy duty and adjustable. Toughest I've ever seen. I think the nylon backing strap is the same a parachute specialists use. You can get them direct or Guitar Asylum in NY.

+1 for Get'm Get'm. I ordered my faux snakeskin strap on MF for $10(clearance) a few months back. I didn't realize how long it was going to be. They are usually over $30 so it was a good deal. GC carries them now too.

This doesn't really pertain to long straps! But I do love my neotech strap for the fact that it DOESN'T let my heavy sl1 move at all!! I used to hold the neck up while I played w/ my old strap, and it dampered my playing a lot! It sucked! I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about! But now it's wrestle free and feels somewhat lighter than it did w/ the old strap!
