  • JS32 pickup installation question

Hi all. New here and having a bit of a problem.

I have a JS32 DKAM with a set of Dimarzio humbuckers in it. I want to take them out and re-install the Jackson branded Belcat humbuckers. Easy so far, right? Well, the problem is the Jackson pups only have one wire each and I can't find any kind of diagram for them or even a good picture of a stock control cavity. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

The red is most likely hot and the bare wire goes to ground. The hot should go to the switch.

ed is right. bare wires (stranded copper shield) should get soldered to ground (i.e. on the back of the pot where the star grounding point is) and the red wire should go to the switch.

Okay that makes sense. I was thrown by there being so little of the bare wire. Thank you, gentlemen!
