  • Jackson truss cover screws

Greetings all, new guy here. I recently purchased a Jackson DKMG and the guy I bought it from had removed the truss cover plate and lost the screws. I called Jackson and they told me what size they are but unfortunately they don’t sell parts. Anyone know where I can pick some up? I went to my local guitar center but no dice. Thanks.

Lowe's or Ace hardware may have something you could use.

What size did they tell you?
i would try ebay, search for “truss rod cover screws” and you’ll find a bunch. You need to know what type of screw head you need. is the cover the type with a little countersink where the screws go, if so, then you’d need a screw with a head like this:

the example above is a #4 size screw, 1/2” long, again not sure what size Jackson told you.

ebay also has a few Jackson truss covers with screws available, so you can check those too.

I looked yesterday there and couldn’t find, but today thanks to your post, I looked again, there they are (scroll down to “Trussrod cover and tuner round head screws”)
