Slash Seymours and other ideas

1.) Anybody have them in your guitar? I might buy an Epi LP and take out the existing PUs with the metal cover (don't like that look) and swap in the Slash Seymours. What do you like about them?
2.) Anybody have a Strat with a humbucker? I want to swap the existing DiMarzio and put in something really 80s sounding a la Lynch, DeMartini.

For your Strat, assuming it has HSS pickups, and you're trying for a Lynch sound, it sounds like you want the Duncan Screamin' Demon. Plus, it's not overly hot so it wouldn't totally overwhelm your single coils.

I don't know about the Slash pickups, but for old Lynch, a Duncan Distortion or JB might work well. The later Lynch stuff is Screamin' Demon.

As for Warren D, a Distortion, JB, or even his RTM signature model will work well. The RTM is actually a JB with an A2 magnet instead of A5.
Many people have also stated that a Distortion is pretty close to a JB with just a ceramic magnet.
