Thanks toejam. I've always been a D'Addario man for electrics and Elixir man for acoustics, and only recently experimented with Ernie Ball on my lesser-played guitars just to try them out. Thanks for mentioning all those new Slinky sets. At a quick glance they look like all the hybrid "in-between" sets that I wish D'Addario had but seem to be sorely lacking from their product lineup.
I wish I didn't already place a Black Friday order this morning with StringsandBeyond.com for four sets of D'Addario XT 9-46 this morning with BF15 coupon code and free shipping to Canada, otherwise I would have bought a couple packs of those new in-between hybrid Slinkys to try on my guitars tuned half-step down and full-step down. (They already shipped my order this afternoon so no chance of adding a couple more packs... guess I'll wait until my next big batch order.)
