Still interesting to see the Death Angel witht he JA serial.

And J6147 used to be mine. You can thank FedEx for the damage. While it isn't the only non-JA archtop, it was the first.

Hell yeah, I need one of those! Make it a single knob/hum & it'd be exactly what I've been daydreaming.

They did in the early 90's. You can see the scanned catalog pages in Audiozone's website (http://audiozone.dk/).

I posted the images but they disappeared. It's in the 90/91 catalog (http://audiozone.dk/cm/thumbnails.php?album=33):
                      - http://audiozone.dk/cm/displayimage.php?album=33&pos=36
The second one is a string-thru.

Zebutcher > Don't you have pictures of the nice red one you sol a few months ago? If my memories are OK it was a very cute archtop (a SLATQ-H).
BTW, I bet I also saw your JA0033 in the 90/91 or 94/95 catalog (pretty sure it's the 90/91).

You do realize they're two different guitars, right? The single coil neck pickup is slanted the opposite way on yours.

Ehm. No. It's just the catalog folding in the picture that gives the idea of the neck pickup wrong sided, slanted up. In this catolog's pic:

you can clearly see that the pickup is slanted down, just like the one on zebutcher's guitar. Beautiful instrument, by the way!

Looks the opposite way to me. They're both slanted down, but his is to the right, the one in the catalog is slanted down to the left (Jake E. Lee style).
