  • Necks: Jackson-Style Vs San-Dimas-Style...

    Hi Folks,

    The custom quote page on the Jackson site gives two options for neck style:

    *Jackson Style
    *San Dimas Style

    Please could someone tell me what the difference is.

    Thanks.

    Just a guess--San Dimas is better!? Thicker, more rounded edges? Jackson = thin and wide?

      Can anyone give dimensions?

      *Nut width
      *Radius
      *Thickness

      Thanks

        The style they are referring to is the headstock shape.

            They also have a Headstock Type option box... which seems a little strange. Why not put San Dimas in there. The options are:

            *Standard
            *Reversed
            *SLS

              Jackson = Pointyhead
              San Dimas = old-style PC1 headstock
