  • USA RR bridge replacement?

I'm working on a friends VERY weathered RR axe, serial 041553

I need to replace the bridge. It has BH-1993 on the bottom, for which I can not find a standard replacement.
It seems like a standard 2.9" [approx] from post to post bridge, but what will work, and in gold to match?

Any advice is welcome, I just don't want to buy the wrong part and I've googled til my eyes watered already!

This will do the trick. I can't recall off the top if my head the story on the commonly seen BH-1993, but these Gotohs are top quality.

Gotoh has made the Jackson logo'd tuners on the USA models for decades.

Check out Frets On The Net if you need plates/hardware etc.
He has a great reputation and he even makes custom parts.

Thanks for the tips...If I can't revive his bridge [I think I broke the low E saddle, it won't retract now] I will use these resources, thanks a ton. Learned more about RR guitars in the last week than I ever thought I'd have to learn.
