  • STUNNING Jackson USA Dragon Graphic Soloist by Dan Lawrence

    Hello guys,

anybody's heard/seen this guitar before? Authentic? Any info on it? Is it a NAMM one-piece guitar? A series? some regular soloist painted afterwards? .... Any clue?

They've done the graphic a few times before but with the inlays, I'm fairly sure you're right... they did the in various body shapes for NAMM probably around a decade ago or longer.

It was a NAMM special run, I don't know how many were made. There were Soloist, Kelly, RR and KV ones.

I think Ed Roman sold them, or at least had some of them for sale.

I have a Warrior done in that graphic, one of the very first "Daneen" paintings, we had the hardware painted so there was no interruption of the graphic:

            "Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
            Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."

              THAT IS INCREDIBLE!!!!....

I don't know if I have to excuse my self, but this is the first time I've seen a FR painted with the graphics...

What year is that guitar?? I ask because of the "old design" angled pickups...

It's a 1990, the paint was done by Daneen Bronson who now contracts with the Jackson Custom Shop. She's done a few like that. Chuk Siple owned this one, then I bought it and had it painted:

The paint does not affect the hardware's functionality at all. Nor does it the pickups. She did a few Dinky guitars too, on the left you'll see one with the Virgin Mary and Christ Child, pickups and trem painted:

That Rhoads was bought from Ralph E on this board. It's "J.E. Lee" Blueburst:

That Kelly is a Purple Pavo finish, a light purple metallic...
