Body wood question (limited edition Dinky)

I love the tone of the limited edition 1988 Jackson Dinky's with the denim blue finish, but most sources don't mention what the body woods are. I found one source that claims its mahogany with a quilt maple top, and another that says its alder with a maple top. A third claims basswood. Anybody know which it is?

Also, if anybody has a dinky with a neck picky that's slanted like this, can they describe what it's like.
