In my experience, getting build process pics has been very rare. Of the few that I have gotten, only one was when I requested pics. Otherwise, the pics that I've gotten were a) taken by another JCF member while touring the custom shop and - just by chance - included one of my guitars, b) posted by the custom shop on the J/C webpage, which they no longer do (It was damn cool when they used to do this - wish they would again!) or c) taken by myself.

...Then again, I haven't usually requested buld pics. I'd rather they spend their time building them well.

I have pix that I took back in Jan 2003 while touring the old Ontario custom shop. At the time the Bullseye Charvels small batch run was about complete and I got some shots of them there. Of course one of those was mine but other than that I don't have any actual in progress shots of any of my own guitars.

This pic is from the Japanese factory when I ordered my semi custom soloist.



Another cool thing about this order was that a few weeks after I placed the order, the shop asked me to come in so that I could pick out the top I wanted from among three pieces of flamed maple.
