I came across these two Marleaux copy Jacksons while doing my daily search for basses on eBay
    $400 & $500..
I Love the looks of the JPB-9 in the Natural Finish..
Would love to try one of these Basses out..

      Tell me more amimbari..
How did it play for you?
      Say compared to the 2B?
I know you were playing it upside down & backwards & that really makes it hard to say how it feels..
I love the way they look.. Really don't have the money anyway..
      Great looking Basses..

ya that is true WRC I could never really feel it out since it was flipped. It sounded like all the other preamped units, I couldn't tell anything special. the 8's and 9's are pretty especially the 9's and I never had one to find out what difference in tone it had with the different pickups in those models since the 7's were p/j's.

That was not my 9, mine had EMG 40DCs in it. The 9 felt more substantial than my JPB8, could be the wood combo. The neck was excellent. I really enjoyed playing this bass when I was playing Jacksons... if I were a hoarder, I would still have this bass!!!

that's a good price bucket.. there's someone trying to sell their black-7 on the bay for a lot more missing a knob with a substantial amount of scratches.
