Finally done! My import mutt

Took longer than I wanted but damn worth the wait. She plays great and sounds just frikkin' awesome; better than I imagined.

Here's what she's made of:
- DXMG body (has some battle damage but still in great shape)
- DK2 neck
- Pup rings by, who else, Budman (This man does immaculate work)
- SD Custom/Jazz combo (Thanx for the advice, Sam)
- Quality electronics bought from our own RoyB @ RSGuitarworks.com
- Hardware came from my DK2 after installing black on it

BTW, if you wanna get the dust off a black guitar before taking pics, use Grab It Dry Cloths; they work miracles.

I also told ya it wasn't that hard to do..and you learn a lot...just takes trial and error.

From afar, it almost looks like a 2-hum Shannon Soloist with chrome pickup rings. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] Even the rosewood board looks like nice dark ebony, further adding to the illusion! [img]/images/graemlins/drool2.gif[/img]

Any plans for a chrome OFR sometime too to complete the guitar? [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] It's virtually USA specs! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
