  • Need help identifying a Jackson

Hey. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this guitar and if so, what the value of the guitar could be. The guitar itself it in good condition, with decent frets. It has no dings or cracks, and the neck is straight, but the original case and volume & tone knobs are lost.
    The serial number is: 032718.

A serial number won't reveal what model it is, or what specs it could have. Please go into detail, or better yet, please share photos of the guitar. To post photos, choose any free image host (https://www.google.com/search?newwin...4dUDCAg&uact=5), upload your photos there, and copy-paste the generated links back here in your next reply.

The model is a Soloist, that is for sure based on the neck/body joint. As for the model, here is what I could find:

        Serial number: 032718

        Production year: 1990
        Model: Professional or Pro
        Production number: 32718
        Factory: Chushin Gakki factory (Japan)

Though I can't find it in the 1990 Jackson catalog, so its not 100 %. A headstock photo could help maybe...

2003 Jackson Pro Series SL3 Soloist, made in Japan. Serial number beginning with 03 corresponds to the year for this era of Japanese Soloists and their other neckthru siblings. Everything looks stock on that guitar except the dome knobs have been replaced by Strat-style knobs.

2003 catalog (scroll down to the specifications page near the end of the catalog): https://guitarinside.com/resources/a...03_catalog.pdf

Here are some other visual examples: https://www.google.com/search?newwin...4dUDCAc&uact=5

Value of the guitar could be anywhere between USD$300 to USD$500 (my opinion/experience) based on condition.
