  • 90's TOM bridge issues

I'm thinking about adding fixed guitar to my JDR 94 collection. Just wondering if any one who's owned 90's TOM Jackson ran into any issues with the bridge: intonation, reliability, compatibility, replaceability? Obviously less possible issues than a Floyd, but just want to see if anayone's run into anything, thanks!

If memory serves me correctly, the Jackson TOM bridge has the model number JT390. I've never heard anything negative about them. Installed on import and USA Jacksons for as long as TOM bridges have been installed on Jacksons.

Can't remember the manufacturer. The underside of the bridge doesn't have the manufacturer's name on it. Google Images shows me BH-1993 on the underside not I have no idea what that represents.

There were two different sizes. The first was skinny with the retaining wire over ther intonation screws. That wire was known to rattle at times. The later one is thicker with no wire.
