90s Dinky professional standard pick guard, something funny..

This is not a common dinky from the Mij professional line it seems, there’s hardly any pictures. Take noticed of the pictures in the catalogs. There were blue red and white and a very distinctive feature of these guards is that they have a see through transparent pickguard for aesthetics only (as in all controls are routed in the back like normal).

Here’s the funny thing though, did some of these guitars have black pick guards? You might thing that someone simply changed it out, but I’ve seen this on more than one while looking at pictures online, including one I just bought. Assuming this isn’t the same guitar being passed around could there be a variation? Speaking of which, where could I get the original part? Or get it made?

Just an update. The guitar had the original all along, someone just had black tape on the back. Some peeled off but other parts had to be scrapped. I know have an original albeit scratched up in some areas dinky pick guard.
