Nuts! Instead of looking to buy a guitar, I should look to buy a case and get a guitar free! lol that's what happened here XD

Your serial number format is Japanese so your guitar is likely from 1998-2000. If you want to be more precise, disassemble the neck from the body, and look for the date stamps on the neck heel and in the neck pocket.

CAD$75 is a total steal for a Japanese Jackson in great shape with case.

    Hi!
Just bought my first Jackson today: a black Superstrat style Performer with an HSS setup and a Floyd Rose style bridge with locking nuts. I got it and a nice hard shell matching case at a garage sale today for $75 Canadian - a fantastic deal no matter how I slice it. I was just wondering if I could request some help nailing down exactly which Performer model I actually have, and if possible what year, too. From what I've found, I think it might be one of the "Dinky" models and its serial number is 9624817. Any information you might be able to provide would be really appreciated!
