<font color="aqua">To be honest, I've tried a few of these and was a bit disappointed in the quality of hardware and the fretwork. The finish was nice but I would've much rather had a neck through from the Charvel Model series for a lot less money. </font>

i did'nt buy it new i had it on ebay half price and mint
i would'nt have bought it new i'd buy the sl3 nat finnish
if it was my choice i had a good deal its worth what i payed

A friend of mine just bought an SL3. Amazing guitar, Natural finish, played like butter. I think I need another Jackson... [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Trans blue seems like a cool color. If you have problems with high E slipping off the fretboard, you might want to replace the nut with a R3. I now i use to have that problem and a few folks on this board had the same problem. Replaced the nut, and it went away.
