  • Will A Charvel Pro Mod Neck Fit My Adrian Smith SDX Body?

I have an Adrian Smith SDX that I put a Tone Zone in, and dig, but I don't love the neck shape.
Would a Charvel Pro Mod neck be a direct fit replacement?
    How about a Warmoth neck?

    Thanks for any help!

The Charvel neck will fit... Warmoth will not.

As a side note, So-Cal pickguards fit on the SDX as well.

What is the neck shape on the Adrian Smith like? Is it more like a traditional Jackson? I have friend with a Pro Mod and the neck felt good but I like my Fusion neck better. I have a frankenstrat that I'd love to put a strat head neck on that felt more like a pointy Jackson.

It feels like a D shape, not as drastic or thin as an Ibanez, but definitely not a C shape like the new Fenders or Pro Mod Charvels.
The only other Jackson I've owned was a DK2M (blue bengal finish), but that was a number of years ago. From memory, that neck was a more pronounced D shape, and maybe a bit thinner. I definitely like this neck more than I remember liking the DK2M neck.

I actually decided to just keep this neck instead of trying to switch it out.
          Good luck with your Frankenstrat!
