Same here... I only own one Jackson (PC1) and one Charvel at the moment. Been playing my Strats a lot more lately.
I've played many PC Archtops before, but the timing was never right when it came to me having the funds and a guitar being available, at the same time.
      The stars aligned this time.

          Stunning!

A timeless classic and easily one of Jackson's finest guitars!

Mine was upgraded with a Super 3 and HS-2 as well as a Brass Big Block from FU-Tone.com before it was shipped off to DRL Graphics.

          Enjoy!

Love those PC archtops! One thing I've always wondered...can the high e on the 24th fret bend up to an f# before you run out of fret?

I simply asked... Right here in our very own classifieds section. I wasn't too optimistic, but as they say, it never hurts to ask.
Newc had one and we made the deal.
Needed a little bit of TLC, but it is a fantastic player.

                      That's awesome Rick!

Selling one of those is one of my few real guitar-land regrets. Such great guitars..
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

I had one exactly like this several years ago and it was a fantastic player. Sold it and regretted it shortly thereafter. This one came up a couple of years ago and I jumped on it. It hung on the wall mostly. I didn't even do a setup on it. Finally decided that if I wasn't going to play it, may as well see about letting it go, then saw Rick's request in the Classifieds and thought about it for a couple of days

Glad it went to someone who'll play it
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

The most human thing we can do is comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.

                            Thanks again Newc!
A quick clean, new strings, and a setup and this thing is a dream to play.
Still going to swap out the pickups. That aftermarket humbuckers is way to bright.

This has to be the most comfortable guitar shape I've ever played.
If my PC1 was alive, it would be a jealous bitch right now.
