96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98. -
It could be 2010, mine is & it's 9852925.

I should have made a better guess than 2009 considering my guitar has a pocket stamp showing 2011-06-13 with serial 9853xxx. Cripes.96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.Comment
