  • saddle blocks

sorry again for posting, but im wondering, can this JT -6 work properly because im missing 1 saddle block and i let the low E without it. i havent tried restringing my guitar yet, and maybe i will tomorrow with .10s. can i just shove the D addario ball end into the saddle and let the screw crush-lock it in place? any alternatives? aside from looking for another saddle from another trem. and if i were to do that method, which string do you think i should leave without a saddle block? the high E seems like a good idea too because the end of the d addario highs arent fatter so it doesnt affect string height unlike the thick ends near the ball of the low strings

I'm almost positive you can use a regular floyd rose block in there. I wouldn't recommend crushing the ball end in it, as you may do more damage. It's real easy to strip the heads of those stringlock screws, and you'll likely have to overcrank it to get it to hold. Order some floyd blocks for it. They're pretty cheap.

    6 for $9 here:

Man, I can remember when using the original bridge that came on my USA Fusion, I once had to sit and sand a floyd block on emery paper to be thinner to fit in that bridge. Not sure what it was as I replaced it with an OFR type and tossed it.
