  • Updated family portrait - import Charvel porn

Well I have went off the deep end with GAS since the Father's Day Chlorine Burst San Dimas Pro Mod my wife and kid bought for me.

I started out this year with just two guitars. The electric blue Model 2 and the Jolly Roger mutt Model 2. I think I'm over my GAS for a while now. So far I've enjoyed playing every one of them but the Chlorine Burst, Predator and So Cal have become quick favorites. I have the Sully Raven tuned to Drop D and I need to change the tuning to something else so I'll play it more. The Model 4 has been the surprise for me as I bought it with the intentions of flipping it.

I had some time today to update the family portrait and I figured I'd share it with ya'll...

How did you get them all to sit still long enough for the pic?? LoL

    Very Good Looking Family!!

First 3 on the left are taunting me!

1 ) I have never seen a Charvel with Sharkfins,
    HSS

    2 ) Single H & Floyd in a Verry nice Blue,

    3 ) Reverse Headstock, H ~ S, Floyd, and
    Very Nice Red.

Please Forgive my Ignorance, as I don't know what to call the Bridge pups, other than Humbucker, or Single.

Buy yea, they are doing that
" Nyyaaaa nyyaaa na nyyyaaaana " thing

    They ALL are Beautiful.

      Thanks!

You're right. The pickups are humbuckers and a single coils. The one with the sharkfins on the left is a Model 4. You can find sharkfins on the Model 4, Model 6 and Model 88. I'm sure some Japan only models probably have sharkfins but I'm not up to speed on them.

That is a formidable collection and you've had a very productive and fruitful year.

Finlays also exist on the Charvel 650 and Charvel 750. There might be more but those two instantly come to mind, along with the aforementioned models Razor added.

Thanks! I never really thought I'd jump back feet first in it like I did.

Forgot about those 650 and 750 XL's too. The 475 comes to mind now too. Thanks for the reminder. Were they part of the Contemporary or the Professional series?

If we follow the info on Henrik's site (https://web.archive.org/web/20180831...rt-guitars.php), the 475 belongs to the Classic Series, and the 650 and 750 belong to the Professional Series.

The weird thing is, I am not sure I recall any catalogs breaking the Toothpaste Logo Charvels into various Series such as Classic, Contemporary, and Professional, until I stumbled across Henrik's site and saw them mentioned there. I wonder where he found the original source of that information.

The two metallic black Pro Mods are 2016 and the chlorine burst Pro Mod is a 2019.
