line 6 variax 500

hey i have been offered a variax 500 trade for 15 wat peavey amp what are they like :think:

They are worth a lot more than a 15 watt peavey amp, if it works. They are cool and work pretty well. I have the 300, the 500 is an improved model. Theyre not very metal but if youve got a line 6 amp or pod that can use the digital interface cable you can bypass the need for batteries or power supplies. The guitar models are pretty cool. Its fun to go from a strat sound to a 12 string sound at the turn of a knob. Definately sounds like a good trade. What model is the amp?

You can also gut the Variax and put the parts in a Warmoth body and add a standard humbucker as well. Like this one I painted for K years ago!
