  • Wood shop up and running.

Well, really just wood working machines in my existing shop up and running. I was recently outfitted with a new jointer and planer to add to my shop. I was so spoiled at Dean, having access to all the machinery there, now I can start cranking out some more custom guitars. I have a couple neck-throughs in the works, but right now I'm doing a couple of bolt on bodies for some friends. I just did a 22 fret dinky body in Honduran Mahogany and next is a Star, same wood. I just wanted to share the first body to come out. It still needs some finish sanding, but you get the idea. Some shots have a little water to show the grain. It will probably get painted though, customers choice.

Be careful using those foreign woods. The gov might raid your shop and take your shit like at Gibson.

Just VERY ROUGH cut and routed this star body today. This one is for a 24 fret 25 1/2 neck. 3 piece Honduran Mahogany and recessed Floyd.
