  • Charvel case question

I have a mid 80's or so grey plastic case formed interior, Charvel on the side in cursive or toothpaste? I thought a model 4 would fit but the body mold is too small?

anyone know what body might fit in this case? its righty head stock for sure, possibly a 3+3?

its smaller than a model 4 and has a ramp on the heel and pointy horns? the heel area looks like it may be neck through? did they make a small dinky body neck through?

I think model 4 was strat sized body. Most likely it fits the toothpaste logo series which were dinky sized bodies 275, 375, 475 or if it is for neckthru then 550, 650 or maybe even 750XL. Or then theres offcourse the fusion series which were also dinky bodies and shorter scale too.

        everything everyone else said -
Dinky body is smaller than Strat body (um, hence the old, 7/8 adage)
Neck thru cases have a different 'hump' then bolt on cases

        but I will add:
I've had cases where I had to put it in headstock first because the molding sort of... i guess you could say.... it puffs out.
