Just added the MIJ Elite series, some of the last stuff to come out of the older Japan factory. I know we're familiar with Jackson Stars doing special high end runs, but this is an rare example of them being for the US market. There are Soloists, Rhoads, and King Vs.

I've also added a newer SL7 Jeff Loomis signature seven string soloist. It has a seven in a line headstock, uncommon on newer jacksons.

Edit: Search for the 'Other' section on the main Charvel/Jackson page to find the new listing.

Hi, I have a SLXT but headstock says crafted in india. Any idea how long did they make these in India? It has Emg hz pups. I thought it was indonesian when I bought it. Nevertheless I guess the build quality would be pretty much the same. Serial is 1103691

Interesting, does it look like my photo? That’s the era where spec changes are rapid and X Series in particular are made in multiple places depending on year. Some of my info has to be estimates and yours seems earlier. 2011?

Hi, even at Jackson they could'nt tell the year of manufacture All the specs check out though. They told me these were made 2011-2014. Well not a big deal after all... btw what do you mean does it look like your photo? I looked at your database and it's on point except looks like these were made in both India and Indonesia.

My example image on the site. Yeah, no big deal like you said. I will however update that entry soon to reflect that earlier date and country of origin.

Interesting though because in 2011 there were still some MIJ around. My Soloist Elite for example...

*Updates!* I've neglected this, sorry. Minor additions here and there. Do you like Kelly Stars? I randomly discovered a mini Kelly Star. The site itself has some major redecorations.

In the future, I will try a thumb nail feature, so you can preview the model before clicking my images. That might take a moment however, as I have a lot of projects going on right now.

Update: Added the American series soloist and two pro series artist models. One is made in Korea, the other indonesia. Who needs consistency? And they're both neck-thru so that's not it difference like it used to be. At least there is an original ideal to make a production Death Angel but... it has a Floyd Rose Special.

Jackson under Fender further spreads out into new series. That's all in the news at 6!

Thanks to https://charvel-jackson-japan.com/charvel-catalogs/ here (not sure if he's on here or not, but I got this from Facebook groups) I had clear scans of the 1992 catalog that has things like the Jackson Eliminator Bass I already knew of. In addition I discovered more that year only exclusive models I'll be adding soon. Futura LT, Concert Bass SP, and more. Some of these I've never seen outside that catalog.

                    • Updated: Added some 2024 stuff, but the bigger update is that I've remodeled the pages somewhat and cleaned up the clutter. I'm slowly adding thumbnails to the entries so you can see before clicking. I've separated the Grover Jackson to their own page here. https://mechas64castles.net/GroverJacksonetc.html. And I've changed some images. Expect me to add more and more as I have time to work on it.

Thanks! Just separated the Jackson Stars to have their own page too. In all, there are four databases, Jackson, Charvel (normal and Japan domestic), Grover Jacksons and related (Team GJ, etc) and Jackson Stars (the US and MIJ) models, plus the information page with additional information, deciphering, myth busting etc. Thanks again to everyone who's helped me on this forum!!
