  • Help id a MIJ Jackson?

So I have a MIJ Jackson with serial number 090095 on the fretboard. Guessing it’s a RR3 or RR24?

one EMG pickup and a Floyd Rose.

    thanks!

An RR3 has 22 frets and a bolt-on neck. An RR24 has 24 and is neck-thru body construction.

It would help identification if you shared some photos. Choose a free image host (https://www.google.com/search?newwin...4dUDCAg&uact=5), upload your photos there, and copy-paste the generated links back here.

How do you read the serial on these RR24s? 09xxxx means a 2009, right?

Yes, for this era of Japanese neckthru Jacksons, the first two numbers (out of six digits) corresponds to the year.

emphasis on "this era japanese neck thru"
the current rr24 is completely different
