  • can anybody help me identify this dinky

just picked this up and cant find any info on it, reverse headstock with black on black logo, ebony fretboard with unusual offset/split fretboard marker placement, the rear of the neck is stained black too (looks lighter in the picture).
    im stumped, any ideas?

Wow, can't pin this one. The serial indicates a 2007 Indian made model...JS Series. Though, a 24 fretter with those short horns is kinda' odd, as are the inlays.
Unless this is a non-North American model, or a limited run I've never seen, I'd say a mutt.

    Does it intonate?
    96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Looks odd to me also. Never seen the offset fretboard markers like that before or a stain on the back of the neck. And the last fret of the fretboard look like it has rounded edges rather than square. Also, don't see a trademark symbol on the headstock near the N like I've seen on most others. Possibly a parts mutt with a repainted after market neck?

My thoughts as well. Looks like a sweet neck though!

Most likely with a J serial number it is a custom shop guitar. Can you post some pics and some details of the specs of the guitar?
