Question about this guitar.

Does anyone know if this is a real Jackson? I've seen 3 of them in Brazil and 1 in Mexico (MIT, with reverse headstock/sharfkins inlays AND serial number).
The crappy one with stickers is mine. lol My brother gave it to me..

Thanks for reaching out. Was there a serial number? From what I'm seeing here it looks like a model that would have predated our ability to search by serial (2003) but if you'd like to send it over I can double check.

From those pics it looks like one of those dealer exclusive models that were popular back then.
The uncommon 24th inlay and the odd knob locations are the specs on some of those models.

If that tremolo doesn't look odd to anyone and the rear control covers aren't oddly shaped it should be a legit MIT from the mid-later '90s.

Except yours has a non-reverse headstock, non-reverse finlays, and a neck humbucker.

All this information helped me a lot. And I'm glad to know that this guitar can be a real Jackson. But sadly, I just sold this guitar for R$ 500,00 (Brazilian real = 124 USD) about 2 hours ago. It's not a huge amount of money, but it will help me for 2 or 3 days. lol And no, it wont allow me to buy another Jackson.... haha The cheapiest Jackson guitars I can find here is about 800 to 1900 reais (which means: no Jackson for me anymore ).
