Hey Photoshop Wizards,
I'm trying to get my act together to get a Custom Shop, but I'm worried about what it will look like, since I've never seen one like this. It's essentially a cross between a Charvel Model 88 and a Jackson Archtop Soloist Pro. Here are the specs:
Neck-through, mahogany Soloist body with 1/8" carved flame maple top in Trans Amber (like Archtop Soloist Pro)
1 slanted EMG 85 bridge pickup w/1 vol. (like Model 88)
Black hardware, incl. non-recessed OFR
22 frets, ebony fretboard w/regular MOP sharkfins
Regular, black headstock w/MOP Jackson logo
My main concern is how the slanted pickup will look on a flame maple archtop. I can provide pics of a Model 88 and an Archtop Soloist Pro, if you like.
