Current Volume Knob Placement - Ugh!

I love the feel of USA Charvels and played the Style 2 Select (tele) and liked it a lot, but I found the placement of the volume knob to be a bit of a pain in combo with the FR.

Anyone else feel the same? Did you get used to it? I love the older placement, under the bridge humbucker.

It's a big enough issue that the Music Zoo makes a special run of SL2H's with the volume knobs re-positioned.
