  • Help! Can you ID this San Dimas

I bought this gal in 2016 from www.guitarworks.ca Serial number is 00230X, "Made in USA" on neckplate and under the logo on the headstock. My guess is 2008? I cannot find many examples of this model.

Any help clarifying would be really appreciated!

BTW, can you embed images via URL from Flicr? Doesn't seem to work for me.

    Thanks!!!

USA Pro Mod production guitar. Neck has been swapped out, would have originally come with a rosewood fretboard.

From USA Batch 8, April 2010. I agree the neck is non-original but it's "period correct" as long as it's a USA neck.

More specs, info, and stock pics in the two links below.

Thanks all! I really appreciate your help. Is there a way to confirm that the neck is, indeed, made in USA other than the fact it's indicated as such underneath the Charvel logo on the headstock?
          Cheers

I have a 6th Batch So-Cal in Polar White for comparison and you have all the hallmarks of a USA Production Model neck, period correct for the era. The obvious quartersawn grain, the skunk stripe, the Grover mini-tuners, the headstock logo, etc. All good.

Maybe check the stamps on the neck heel and neck pocket? Here are mine.

                    +1.

Those bean-shaped Grovers are usually a dead giveaway, anyway. They've pretty much only ever appeared on a Charvel with the USA and Japanese Pro Mods. So typically not used on replicas or fakes.
