Here is my 1982 star... It's been modified to add the floyd rose at some point in it's past as well as different pickups.

What kind of bridge is this?

I broke the trem arm on my red star two months ago, and it has been a pain to get a replacement. Now I actually have two...one original wich I got from Fender and one copy sold by Frets on the Net. Thing is I couldn't get the piece that was stuck out of the block, so my guitar tech offered me one of his old Mighty Might/ Gary Kahler model, one piece milled bridge! It sounds and plays beautiful, and IMHO it is even a bit more original than the "original"
The original arm fits, so that is on!
Unfortunately the Charvel saddles did not fit the bridge...
I'd say the bridge is somewhat like a mix of the two first bridges here...http://www.usacharvels.com/id/pg17.htm

check out this bands facebook while your there, pretty cool stuff and I'm the producer that came to Iceland from Sweden with Ed Force One, Iron Maidens jumbo jet...
Also, check the very cool wall of guitar amps that we used: a Marshall JTM 45 through a Marhall 4x12 greenback, a Marshall JMP through a Marshall 4x12 1960a, a Fender Blues Deluxe combo and a VOX AC 30. All in parallell and with different mics like Neuman U47, ribbons, Shure SM7 and SM57, AKG 414 and 441 and also a mono room mic pointed away from the amps and a stereo pair back in the room facing the amps...loud as hell and really fat!!!
