Not my first choice shape of guitar but I couldn't find any San Dimas-shaped, Floyd-equipped Charvel pointies when I bought this NOS Star in 2009. Living in the UK is horrible for guitars...

Love me some Stars. Here's my early 1982 Star. Haven't got around to finishing the minor resto on this yet. Someone modified it with a floyd back in the 80's and removed the headstock logo (the replacement logo on it now is a cheapie until I can get it done properly). Still need to get the frets done and convert the nut back.

How common were the "kramer" style headstocks on these? I've never noticed one before...

The gold sparkle bullseye is pretty sweet looking.

I believe they call it the explorer style headstock. They're rare and Tracy has pretty much all of them. That bastage.
