its a jackson/charvel or at least CJ parts. wouldnt be surprised if he had the logo removed because of kramer endorsement. & endorsees or artists could always get strat headstocks, just not the general public....in the US.

Agreed, although I think that was more true up through maybe '86. I recall talking to a dealer in '84 or '85 about ordering a strathead, and was told even then that they were only doing it for artists (Dimartini, et al) or "special cases". In addition to the Fender legal issue, J/C was really pushing the pointyhead to set themselves apart from the competition. Post-86 though, for the most part you only saw stratheads for overseas artists. ....Of course, there's always exceptions to the rule.
