Saw Children of Bodom last night and Insomnium supported them. In fairness, seen Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum many times this year, but Markus is a Jackson CS player and a class act all the way! Simple gear set up too. He seems to switch between a Marshall JVM and a Fender EVH 5150III head with various Jackson RRs.
But anyway. He's a hell of a player as is Ville Friman (Insomnium guitarist also, Amphisound LP I think?) and I thought it was rather nice that he is happy to come out after his set and talk gear, beer and all the rest of it! Chatted to him for a few minutes last night and he's a proper geezer!
