Just wanted to thank everyone for the pedal advise. Bought a DigiTech Bad Monkey for some boost, and put a Boss GE-7 in my loop. That GE-7 really nailed that sound I wanted from my amp. I know some of you said I wouldnt be able to get the metal sound I wanted from my Peavey Classic 50. Thought you were right for awhile there but the EQ got it right. Never played a high end metal amp so maybe mine is weak but it does sound great to me. Thanks for the help. Now I just need a NS-2 to kill the extra noise and some nice cables to finish it up.
