  • Yamaha THR10X - Are you kidding me??

The local GC has these in stock and I plan to try one soon. Do or can they really sound THIS good?

They are really good . You will need the THR editor to fine tune your tones like Cameron .

I have the Blackstar ID Core 10. In the same league as the Yamaha but less expensive. Cam's recordings always sounds so good whether he's on the THRX or 5150.

Important to note: NEITHER companies have released sw versions that support my MAC OS High-Sierra. I am SOL with any fine tuning features or fiddling around with recording via USB. Not really why I bought my little practice amp but if you are interested in recording, make sure their sw is compatible with your computer.

Just came back from trying one out. The verdict: it's good but I wasn't blown away. I don't think it comes anywhere near my old Flextone II, so I passed.

I know that the software gives you more options, but...
