    what pot should i use to replace the stock.should i replaCE ALL.THANKS

    If you're replacing one because it's broken, I'd just replace that. If you're replacing them because you think it'll improve the tone, replace them all with something like CTS.

    Personally, I'd put in a push/pull and coil split both pickups. That's what I did when I had passives in my RR3 and I've also done it with my KE3.

      MartinBarre1, do you have a wiring diagram for that? What differences in tone does it give to coil split? I have a KE-20, very similar layout to the KE3. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

        There's a wiring diagram for it on the Seymour Duncan website. IIRC it's just the same wiring apart from the two red and white wires (on a Duncan pickup, other types will have different colour codes) so it's pretty simple.

        When coil split, you get a single coil tone from the humbuckers - I like to wire it so both split with one push/pull so when activated you get single coil tones from each switch position. The middle position is really nice for clean stuff.
