  • Replacement Neck for a Jackson KVX10

I bought a KVX10 pretty cheap and there is something wrong with the neck. I got a shop looking at it right now, but I think the neck might need to be replaced. I need any info you guys might have. Has anyone replaced a Jackson 24 fret neck with anything other than a Jackson? Will Jackson 24 fret necks from other models fit? Does anyone know the heel dimensions of the KVX10 neck or other 24 fret models? Any info would be very helpful. Thank you.

No other brand of 24 fret neck will fit.

Any 24 fret Jackson neck should fit just fine.

I'm sure everyone who makes a 24 fret "Jackson-style" neck would like you to believe they actually made theirs from accurate measurements of Jackson's designs, but in reality they most probably get parts from AllParts, Warmoth, or MightyMite.

Warmoth was actually working on updating their product line to real Jackson-spec necks, but the prices were a bit high. You could get real Jackson necks cheaper off Ebay.
