Seems we had a thread about the jt-580s well the older ones have screw in bars like the 500s do..My 92 stealth lx has on and the bar screws in! and it seems a little smaller[base plate] so to all Iwas wrong!!!! SORRY!!!
I know the old saying that the value of an opinion is generally inversely proportional to the strength with which it is held.

I have a 92 JT-580LP and it has the thinner sustain block and screw in arm which screws into the block.

my 96 dx1 has the newer style arm and that's when they dropped the schallers. I think the older ones where the same as the Takuachi(I am sure I spelled it wrong) TRS101 and the ibanez low pro trems.
John does the arm screw into the trem block and not just the base?
