  • Dimebucker/X2N

Anyone have experience with both of these?I've got a Dimebucker in my explorer right now and I like it well enough, but I've heard alot of good things about the X2N and thought about giving it a try.Just wondered how they compare.

I've had both an X2N and Dimebucker in one of my primary guitars (and Ibanez SZ230) and both are REALLY good pickups if you're wanting extremely high output.

I've personally found that the Dime has more high end and more clipping while the X2N is a little bit thicker-sounding.

But then again, the X2N I tried out was an older pickup, made sometime in the late seventies. I wouldn't know if a new one would sound the same or not.
