  • Wireless systems & hum

Why do wireless systems reduce hum so dramatically? (these are properly grounded guitars I am talking about). I've heard the theories about the body being a receptor of radio noise and touching metal parts ground the person to the guitar, reducing these noises but with my limited knowledge of electronics I don't see how this would apply to a wireless system.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
