Is it possible to install the low profile dbl locking trem (found on the MG and Pro lines) onto a Warrior X body that just has the regular dbl locking trem? Is it a direct bolt on or would body mods need to be done?

What I want to know is if the trem here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=390035420029
will be a direct bolt-on or are the trem cavities in the bodies different?

        Ahh... that's a JT-500 trem. POS.
No, a low profile trem will not fit in that route.
Plus, the trem you are looking at on eBay is a bigger POS than the stock JT-500.
Those "Fast load" trems are single locking.

Will a JT580 drop in place without any mods?

              Nope.

The only QUALITY trem that would drop right in is a Schaller or a JT-590.

                Rick,
Thanks. Which should I go with? Which one is better?

The JT-590 is just a rebranded Schaller.
                  So either one will work.

The JT-590 is no longer made, so you may have a hard time finding one. eBay would be you best bet. May take you a while though as they rarely show up.
The JT-500 is commonly mistaken as a JT-590. Make sure it says "Made in Germany" on the base plate.
                  There's a JT-500 on eBay now that is listed as a 590... it is not a 590.

You can pick up a Schaller from Warmoth.com, but they are not cheap.

                      Yep... that's a POS JT-500, not a JT-590.
                      Worth about $40 tops.
