  • Jt580 help!

Hey guys, the other day I bought a Jackson RR3 used, and the guy had it tuned to drop C. Well I got my friend to tune it back up to E standard, and he had to raise the bridge a bit, but now when I pull back on the trem, the springs just pop off. Can anyone tell me on how to fix this off by hand? In a bit I'll post pics. So please, if anyone has any ideas what might be doing this atm help me out

Sounds like someone put the sustain block on backwards.
The springs are suppose to angle into the block towards the neck.

I had the same problem with the JT6 on my Model 5A. As stated above the sustain block was backwards. The Jackson logo on the block should be facing towards the neck.
Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.
