model 6 nut q

I have a model 6-problem is tha the nut has the high e string over too far for the locking nut to grab it! the locking nut is not the standard kahler-but even with that i think i will need to change the other nut so the e string will not be so close to the edge. any ideals???????

I got that problem to on my Model 6. The thinner e string slips down to side of the lockingnut. But the guitar is still in tune and that is whats matters.

Just make sure the string is between the pressure pad and the nut when its clamped down.. As long as it is. It should stay in tune. Maybe push it towards the b string when claping it down.
